According to José Chinjamba, administrator of AIPEX – in statements during the opening of training training on the Export Process, cited by Angop –, the agency's action is based on two foundations, namely attracting investments, as well as the purpose of promote exports, hence the focus on training the business class to do so.
The official, cited by Angop, also considered that "as the Government also plans to increase exports, there is an urgent need to improve and update knowledge on how, what and which markets are eligible for the export of certain products".
According to Leitão António, president of the Board of Directors (PCA) of the Nova Tax Academy (ANAT), exports are crucial in the development of a country's economy, writes Angop.
Promoted by ANAT, in partnership with AIPEX, the training will take place over two days, with the aim of training economic agents, both in the country and abroad, related to the export sector.
AIPEX with registration of 630 private investment projects in the last five years
In the last five years, AIPEX registered a total of 630 private investment projects, whose proposals are estimated at approximately 9.3 billion dollars.
According to Lello João Francisco, PCA of the institution, of the total, 191 projects were implemented, the majority of which related to the industrial domain, totaling approximately 1.6 billion dollars. Quoted by Angop, Lello João Francisco – who presented the data on the sidelines of a training seminar on the Single Investment Window and its facilities – also made it known that since August 2023, the agency he directs has been registering 69 proposals equally in the industrial sector, budgeted at around two billion dollars.
