According to Angop, Dário António won the 180 kilometers of the third stage (route between Porto Amboim and Kissama Park), thus wearing the yellow jersey, which was given to him by Igor Silva, winner of the second stage of the tour (170 kilometers, on a route between Cubal and the center of Benguela).
In addition to Dário António, the podium is also made up of Mário de Carvalho from Petro de Luanda and Zeferino Epalanga from ACT, who took second and third place, respectively.
According to Angop, 140 athletes participated in the competition, and, in addition to the national teams, teams from Cape Verde, Zimbabwe, São Tomé and Príncipe and the Democratic Republic of Congo also attended.
The Tour of Angola began on October 14th, in Huambo, and paid tribute to Alberto Silva 'Pepino'.
