The information is contained in a statement from the Ministry of Public Administration, Labor and Social Security, to which VerAngola had access.

The guardianship reminds that All Souls' Day (celebrated on November 2) is a national holiday. "Taking into account that the aforementioned date will coincide with Thursday, and must give way to the bridge, with the consequent suspension of work activity on the day immediately following (November 3, Friday), as established in paragraphs 1 and 2 of article 6 of Law no. 11/18, of 28 September – which amends articles 2, 3 and 6, of Law no. 10/11, of 16 of February – Law on National and Local Holidays and Dates of National Celebration", says the ministry, adding that "if there is a need to observe the provisions of no. 3 of article 6 of the aforementioned Law" it is communicated that "it is added one and a half hours per day during public service work, between the 26th, 27th, 30th and 31st of October and the 1st of November of this year".

The guardianship also informs that "workers who work shifts are not covered by this circular", and "it is the responsibility of those responsible for each administrative body or service to ensure compliance" with the provisions.
