The competition is aimed at local civil society organizations, open until November 8th, and aims to contribute to minimizing needs in the social field, especially in the health and education sectors.

According to Camões, in a statement sent to Lusa, the objective of the initiative is "to seek to respond to initiatives that, due to their nature and smaller size in budgetary terms, are considered for another type of institutionalized support within the framework of Portuguese Cooperation or other development partners".

The proposals, with a minimum value of two million kwanzas (two thousand euros) and a maximum value of 8.5 million kwanzas, must be implemented within a period of one year and the actions must be aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030.

Camões evaluates the proposals, which must be sent to the email cooperação.luanda@mne.pt, according to their relevance, impact, sustainability, geographic location, visibility and the acquisition of other partnerships that contribute to reinforcing the implementation of the action/project.
