In a statement, Consia expressed concern about the “calamitous and inhumane situation” of the population confined in the Gaza Strip, resulting from the “indiscriminate and disproportionate attacks perpetrated by the Israeli armed forces, taking the lives of thousands of defenseless civilians”.
He also “vehemently condemned these heinous acts” calling for an immediate end to hostilities in the region.
Speaking out against all types of violence, Consia expressed solidarity with the Palestinian people and urged Muslims around the world and in particular those residing in Angola to pray “to help our brothers in Palestine”.
