PR goes to Uíje and completes the return of regular flights and construction of a new hospital with 200 beds in the province

The visit of the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, to Uíje recorded its first gains on Tuesday: among the various news agreed during the meeting that the head of State held with the provincial government, the return of flights is highlighted, from the first half of 2022, to the province, as well as the construction of a new public hospital with a capacity of 200 beds.

This Tuesday, 26th October, João Lourenço sat down with the provincial government of Uíje to make an "exhaustive assessment of the general state of the province".

A note posted on the Government's Facebook notes that "after three hours of detailed assessment of the government's action in the territory, Uíje province obtained the first gains from the presidential visit at that meeting".

Among the main gains is the fact that Manuel Quarta "Punza" airport "will start receiving regular flights in the first half of next year, to facilitate the mobility of populations after years of inactivity in the territory".

The note also states that "a public hospital with 200 beds will begin to be built to serve the populations of the province, joining other health infrastructures that are already operating in the province".

Among the main news that resulted from the meeting is also the construction of a new football stadium, "to meet the infrastructure needs that the sport faces in the territory".

In addition, it was also agreed that within seven months, the province "will be able to see the works of its Mediatheque completed". According to the statement, "the idea is for the vital equipment to come into operation as soon as possible to serve local populations, with emphasis on young people and students eager for knowledge and knowledge."

According to the note, the five million dollars remaining to finish the work "were assured by the Incumbent of Executive Power at the meeting".
