According to Turkish news agency Anadolu, the Turkish statesman's visit to Angola is part of a four-day diplomatic trip that the minister is going to embark on to three African countries: Angola, Nigeria and Togo.
Recep Erdogan will head to the African continent on Sunday. The first stop should be in Angola, where it will remain for 24 hours.
Sources, quoted by Anadolu agency, indicate that during his stay in Angola, Erdogan should meet his counterpart João Lourenço, as well as attend a forum with businessmen from both countries.
It should be remembered that the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, visited Turkey last July, where ten bilateral agreements were signed between the two countries.
At the time, a visit by the Turkish president to Angola in October this year was also announced.
