Sika Angola is going to invest more than 1 million dollars to recover sales

About 1.2 million dollars is how much Sika Angola will invest to recover its turnover, which suffered a fall with the covid-19 pandemic.

:

Ricardo Rocha, the company's general director, informed, cited by Expansão, that the company's annual sales have already reached, on average, close to five million dollars. However, in the last five years, they have suffered a drop in the order of around 40 percent, due to "currency instability".

In 2019, Sika Angola had a turnover close to three million dollars. However, the arrival of covid-19 has shaken accounts: in the first six months of last year, Sika Angola's business suffered a drop in the order of around 33 percent, prompting the company to act.

For this, the company drew up an investment plan, worth around 1.2 million dollars, to be applied in 2022, with a view to recovering sales.

According to Expansão, the investment plan foresees that the company will no longer be a subsidiary of the group in Portugal and, from 2022 onwards, will be 'accountable' directly to its headquarters in Switzerland.

The implementation of another production line, which will create another five jobs, is also planned to take place, as part of the investment plan.
