The center was installed in an area of approximately 2000 square meters and is the result of a public investment of around six million dollars.

On the occasion, the president of the Association of Kidney Patients of the provinces of Benguela and Cuanza Sul, Óscar Caldeira, considered that the conditions in the new center "are better than in the hemodialysis centers of the municipal hospitals of Benguela and Lobito".
