Alda de Sousa, coordinator of the expanded vaccination program, considered that it is "necessary that people do not let their guard down".
Speaking to Rádio Nacional de Angola (RNA), the official said that the vaccination teams are working towards being able to "assist a large part of the population".
"We are aware that it is really difficult, but people also have to collaborate in your organization," she said.
She stressed that "integrated vaccination teams are working hard", indicating that there have been vaccination posts closing at 10pm.
It should be recalled that at the beginning of the month, the Government announced new prevention measures to control covid-19, including the mandatory presentation of the vaccination certificate.
At the time, Adão de Almeida, Minister of State and head of the Civil House of the President of the Republic, announced that from 15 October onwards, citizens who want to access public places will have to present a vaccination certificate, indicating that those who are not vaccinated may test negative to covid-19 as an alternative.
