"This seminar aims to discuss the articulation of primary health care with specialized services and hospital services", explained the minister.

Speaking online at the session, the head of the Health portfolio indicated that research into the possible use of RNA in vaccines and other treatments should not distance itself from translational and operational research, as these enable health authorities to create strategies that are appropriate for various epidemiological and sanitary situations, among others.

Cited by Angop, Sílvia Lutucuta considered that the constraints and changes imposed by covid-19 led to an analysis of essential matters related to maternal and child health systems, the control of endemic diseases, among others.

She also considered that diseases such as Ebola, Zika, among others, may develop into epidemic outbreaks. Therefore, she said that epidemiological surveillance, multisectorality and community mobilization are crucial for programs linked to primary health care to be successful.
