Speaking to Lusa agency, the spokesman for the flag carrier, Carlos Vicente, said the flight was scheduled for Monday, but was not carried out due to a lack of tests.
Asked if other flights were canceled for the same reason, Carlos Vicente said that "for now it was only with the flight from Cabinda".
The official said that tests for domestic flights were being carried out at the airport, but "in the absence of tests, logically, TAAG will not carry out the flights".
Carlos Vicente said that, when asked if TAAG contacted the health authorities, for reasons of rescheduling the flights, the situation "is the domain of health entities".
Lusa contacted the Ministry of Health for a statement regarding information on an alleged covid-19 breach of serological or RT-PCR testing, but received no response.
One of the measures to prevent and combat the new coronavirus pandemic in the country is the requirement to present the covid-19 test for circulation between provinces.
