National exam for access to law scheduled for October 15th

Held online and virtually, the National Examination for Access to Advocacy was scheduled by the Organizing Committee (EN-OAA 2020) for next Wednesday, October 15th, at 10 am.

:

Taking into account the constraints caused by the covid-19 pandemic, the test will be carried out through a digital platform (available at www.enoaa.org), says a statement from the organizing entity.

However, in order to safeguard against fraud, the evidence will be divided into two phases. The first phase will be written, through the American system and the second phase will be oral, having a merely confirmatory character, says Angop.

In this way, candidates will not need to travel to other provinces to take the exam, as was normally the case.

In spite of everything, the Organizing Committee recommends reading the Special Procedure for Conducting the National Examination for Access to Advocacy, available on its website.

It is recalled that this test had already been postponed and rescheduled to September 26th, having been canceled again due to the covid-19 pandemic. The date of the race has now been fixed at 15 October, at 10 am.

Failure to take the exam this year was disregarded, as it would prevent the enrollment of new trainee lawyers, overburdening its organization next year. The statement added that the National Council of the Angolan Bar Association therefore decided, on September 3, to proceed with the examination via online.

This Thursday, October 8, a clarification session on the National Examination for Access to Advocacy will be held on the page at the Center for Studies and Training of the Bar Association of Angola, on Facebook.
