Common angolans are the face of RedTag's new campaign

RedTag Angola decided to transform angolans into models: the brand photographed its new collection for the summer 2020 with ordinary citizens.

"RedTag has been photographing in the last few weeks its new Summer 2020 clothing collection. This production was made with ordinary people, of different ages and characteristics and not by agency models", reveals the brand in a statement sent to VerAngola.

In the memo, RedTag explains that it has decided to turn to ordinary people in order to get "closer to consumers" and thus focus on "diversity, inclusion and representativeness".

Although RedTag is an international brand, the brand manager, Esmeralda Neves Ferreira, explained that RedTag wants "customers to feel part" of the brand.

"Interior store campaigns will have angolan faces to inspire angolans," she added.

The photo campaign will be available soon: the photos will be placed inside the store and on the brand's social networks. However, RedTag has not advanced a concrete date for the launch of the campaign.

"To further affirm this commitment the brand supported last Saturday and Sunday the Edmázia show, the return little by little of our musicians with shows in a restaurant, complying with all safety rules," completes the note.

The fashion brand, original from Dubai, was launched in 2006. It is present in United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Qatar, Kuwait, Uzbekistan, Egypt, Nigeria, Tanzania and Angola.
