Present in Angola since 2013, through a representation of the Angolan company Etosha Grupo, Vista Alegre created a collection inspired by the “beautiful and fascinating” capital city, which it named “Colecção Alma de Luanda”.
In partnership with the well-known Brazilian designer and illustrator Beatriz Lamanna, the well-known Portuguese porcelain pieces are transformed into a tea service that pays homage to the Luanda woman. A warrior woman is illustrated, “represented with her colorful headscarves”, explains the brand in a statement sent to VerAngola.
This collection also features decorative dishes with illustrations of local iconic places in the city, such as the Luanda Bay, the Banco Nacional de Angola building and the Ilha de Luanda.
“Vista Alegre intended, with the‘ Alma de Luanda ’, to pay tribute to the capital city Luanda, portraying and perpetuating in its pieces the essence of a people, their architecture and their customs”, the company also says.
It is recalled that Vista Alegre was founded in Portugal in 1824 and is present in about 70 countries, with more than 200 stores. It is recognized worldwide for the refinement, luxury, design and quality of its pieces.
In Angola, it is represented by the Etosha Group, wholly owned by Angolan capital, with a store located in Torre Loanda Building, in Kinaxixi.
On a commercial level, the brand in Angola operates in the Private and Corporate segment, with the opening of the showroom for the HORECA channel soon.
