In a statement that VerAngola had access to, INAPEM reported that the ceremony was attended by the head of the Business Support Department (DPAE) in Benguela, Joaquim Lino; the coordinator of the Technical Unit for the 'Made in Angola' seal; and the coordinator of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Unit, Juelma Forquilha; and the industrial director of the Carrinho group, Luís Ferreira.
"With this certification, the Carrinho group joins other leading companies that already carry the 'Made in Angola' seal, such as Suave, Banco BAI, and Nossa Seguros, strengthening the network of consumer goods producers, manufacturing industries, and national service providers participating in this initiative," the statement reads, adding that "the certification of 40 more Carrinho group products recognizes its commitment to quality and the promotion of national industry."
Among the certified products, sugar, rice, soybean oil, and many others stand out.
Promoted by the government, this seal aims to "value national products and services, encouraging domestic consumption and competitiveness."
"With this addition, the program now has 560 companies, 54 green seals, 469 original seals, and more than 2540 registered products, consolidating itself as one of the main initiatives to stimulate production and sustainable economic development in the country," the statement reads.
