The announcement was made this Wednesday by the Minister of State and Head of the Civil House of the President of the Republic, Adão de Almeida, who presented the new rules of the situation of calamity that will be in force from Friday to November 7.

"Tests carried out at public institutes will now be reimbursed by the government," he said, adding that those carried out at the initiative of health authorities will continue to be free.

The new diploma, which will come into force at 11:59pm on 8 October, also includes changes for the workforce, which in Luanda was 50 percent and now 75 percent, and clarifies rules for the gradual resumption of classes in person.

The rules establish a minimum physical distance of one and a half meters between students and teachers, dispensation from classroom activities for particularly vulnerable students and teachers, and the wearing of masks.
