João Lourenço reformulates BDA's board of directors

The President of the Republic reformulated the board of directors of the Development Bank of Angola (BDA), led by Henda Essanju Inglês, who will assume the position of executive president of the institution, being replaced by António Sozinho.

A note from the Civil Office of the President of the Republic states that the executive directors Mariana de Aragão, Elisabete Kinanga and Samahina Saúde were also exonerated, while non-executive directors, Amândio Vaz Velho, José Aníbal Rocha, Leonel da Silva, also ceased to function. Constantino dos Santos and Adérito Correia.

The head of state appointed non-executive directors, of whom António Sozinho is also a member, accumulating with the role of chairman of the bank's board of directors, Samahina Saúde, Leonel da Silva, Constantino dos Santos and José Aníbal Rocha.

For the executive committee of the BDA, the President appointed Henda Essanju Inglês, executive director and chairman of this committee, Elisabeth Kinanga, Mariana de Aragão and Clemente de Oliveira Paulo, executive directors.

BDA is a public financial institution that aims to support the country's sustained economic growth.
