The registration process began this Thursday and will last 30 days, under the motto "Together we count for Angola".
According to a note from the municipal administration of Cazenga, to which VerAngola had access, the start of the census was confirmed by the Minister of State and Chief of the Military Household of the President of the Republic, Francisco Pereira Furtado, who was accompanied by the governor of Luanda, Manuel Homem.
"The Minister of State and Chief of the Military Household of the President of the Republic, Francisco Pereira Furtado, accompanied by the governor Manuel Gomes da Conceição Homem, were in the municipality of Cazenga on the morning of this Thursday, the 19th, where they went to confirm the start of the 2024 Population and Housing Census", the note reads.
It should be remembered that this is the second time that the country has carried out the census, after the 2014 Census.
