According to the company's manager, Cheila Gaspar, the export is not yet ready, but it is already being prepared.
"Right now, what we have here is the export already prepared, not all of it, to Poland (...). In the interior we are also preparing merchandise, more granite and marble, but already in the finished work, in this case to Portugal, because it is also the market that we do", she said, speaking to the Public Television of Angola (TPA).
The official said that "blocks still need to be added" and that they are waiting, so that "next month" it will be possible to travel another export on the way to Poland.
In an interview with TPA, she also mentioned that they are focused on the Polish market: "We are currently focused on our Polish market. We also have a Megastone representation there and we can say that we are well placed, well positioned, with our granite from Angola".
She stressed that the only granite they work with is that of Angola and that this product "is having an excellent output, especially the black Angola", adding that they have managed to "replace the name of this granite on the Polish market".
"We recently received a boat in one of the ports in Poland and the merchandise as it arrived was already being received by customers, it was already sold in transit (...) and I think that alone demonstrates the acceptance of our granite, which is excellent," she added, quoted by TPA.
"I think we have enormous wealth here in terms of granite and not only that, and I think that it would be very important for us to take it to Europe and other markets because we really have quality and we can represent very well in terms of granite worldwide. Angola manages to place and stand out in this competitive market", concluded Cheila Gaspar.
