The announcement was made by the Instituto de Gestão de Activos e Participações do Estado (IGAPE), which in a statement quoted by Jornal de Angola, said that the tender, which took place via electronic auction, registered six applications.
Once the steps established in the procedural documents were completed and "based on the award criteria provided for therein", IGAPE said, the asset was granted to M.V.L. – Corporation, Ltd.
According to the institute, quoted by Jornal de Angola, the tender followed "all administrative procedures", in compliance with the Terms of Reference and the Basic Law on Privatizations.
It is recalled that the public tender for the privatization of this asset took place in March, with applications to be submitted until April, the month in which the auction was also scheduled.
