The holder of the Interior portfolio - in statements to the press, cited by Angop, as part of the inauguration of the Camama Public Service Point, which took place this Tuesday - said that, with a view to reversing this scenario, communications will be made with the aim of warning citizens and finding ways to distribute documents at offices in the areas where they live and, if this does not work, they will be transferred to the archives.

Regarding the opening of the post, Laborinho said that this act is part of the decentralization of administrative services and also in the festivities of the SME's 48th anniversary, marked last Friday.

"The inauguration of this service point is part of the festivities of the forty-eighth anniversary of the Migration and Foreigners Service, celebrated last Friday, April 19th", he pointed out, quoted in a statement from the Ministry of the Interior, to which VerAngola had access.

"We consider the implementation of this project necessary and convenient, to prevent businesspeople and users of this administrative district from traveling to other parts of the city, to issue their visa, passport and other migratory acts", the minister also highlighted.

According to Eugénio Laborinho, "the action is in line with the economic and migration policies that the Angolan Executive has been adopting to promote tourism and foreign investment".

"It is within this framework that the Angola-China Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Ministry of the Interior, decided to acquire and equip these facilities, to facilitate the mobility of Chinese foreign workers and the flow of commercial activity, without prejudice to the interests of citizens ", concluded the minister.

According to the statement, the SME service point is located at Shopping Popular, in the Urban District of Cidade Universitária, in the municipality of Talatona, and was inaugurated by Eugénio Laborinho, in a ceremony that was attended by the "general director of the SME, chief migration commissioner, João António da Costa Dias", the representative of the Angola-China Chamber of Commerce, as well as members of the Consultative Council of the Ministry of the Interior, the SME and the local administration.
