A tourist information office, tourist guide, observatory, kiosks with handicrafts, country postcards and books on the sector make up the infrastructure.
According to Angop, the station services will be available from next month. The infrastructure does not start yet because the amounts to be charged to access the place are still being evaluated, simplifying the payment of salaries for the six local jobs created and the maintenance of equipment.
Jomo Fortunato, Minister of Culture, Tourism and Environment, said that the implementation of more initiatives of this kind in the country is planned.
"We are going to create tourist information posts in all tourist centers in the country, to facilitate tourism operators to better disclose the potential of our valued places. We are calling for the urgent involvement of the transport, energy and water sectors for the development of infrastructure that allow the realization of domestic tourism and beyond", he indicated.
According to Expansão, the first phase of the post at Miradouro da Lua cost about 20 million kwanzas. However, in a second phase, the construction of 10 kiosks, a playground and a campsite is planned.
To the same newspaper, the government official said that the project will be privatized in October.
