The first citizen under the age of five to obtain an ID card was Tales Bernardo António Bota, son of José Cutalica Bota and Itelvina Fátima Morais António Bota.
It was on the lap of the Minister of Justice and Human Rights that the one-year-old child received his ID, writes Platinaline.
It should be noted that this gesture marks the official start of the registration campaign that is changing the age at which ID cards are issued to children, from five to one year of age.
According to Platinaline, in the signature of the ID cards instead of being the phrase "can not sign", as it appears on tickets issued to children from five years and adults who can not write, will appear the full name of the child in print.
