"The amount collected or committed to the sales made is over 806 billion kwanzas, and of this amount a total of 455 billion kwanzas has already been received by the state, in cash and in assets," the Finance Ministry said in a statement published on its website.
Cited in the note, Ottoniel dos Santos, secretary of state for Finance and Treasury, said that the amount collected relates to the sale of 41 assets.
"In the total of assets that are part of the net list of the privatization program as a whole, we have already registered the sale of 41 assets. In total there are 138 assets that would be in the program, after a set of filters that were made to the program, leaving these 97 that we have been referring to", he said.
The secretary of state also said that in the agreements signed, Angola "received in exchange not only monetary values, but also shares or participations".
