Return of flights in the country with almost daily connections between Lisbon and Luanda

The reopening of the national airspace on September 21 will allow almost daily connections between Lisbon and Luanda with the Portuguese carrier TAP and TAAG, flying three times a week on alternate days.

According to the information provided by the Consulate of Portugal in Luanda, TAP flights should take place every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, leaving Luanda at 23:20pm and arriving in Lisbon at 07:10am. In the opposite direction, departures take place at 1:55pm from Lisbon, with arrival at 9:30pm in Luanda.

TAAG plans to fly on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The planes leave Luanda at 11h30 and land in Lisbon at 7pm, departing from the Portuguese capital at 9pmto arrive in the Angolan capital at 04:30am the next day.

Passengers are only allowed to board at any of these departure or destination points with a covid-19 (RT-PCR) screening test with a negative result made up to 72 hours before.

The entry into Angolan territory no longer requires any authorization, being necessary to fulfill a quarantine period of at least seven days.

Angola registers 155 dead and 4236 cases of covid-19.

The covid-19 pandemic has already caused at least 965,760 deaths and more than 31.3 million cases of infection in 196 countries and territories, according to a balance sheet made by the French agency AFP.
