TAAG will restart operations gradually. Portugal and Brazil are priority

As of the 21st of this month, TAAG will gradually restart operations abroad. Portugal and Brazil are one of the company's priorities, occupying the top places in the list of countries to which the national airline intends to resume flights.

The national company will make three flights a week to Portugal. Manuel Júnior, communication director at the Ministry of Transport, also made it known that the Portuguese company TAP also plans to carry out an identical number of flights to Luanda.

As for Brazil, he said that TAAG plans to carry out a flight to and from Brazil every two weeks.

At the moment the tourist trips will be outside the plans of the flagship company, said Manuel Júnior, quoted by Angop, explaining that the flights will initially be for people who travel for business, studies or health reasons.

Domestic flights, which will resume on September 14, the director of communication of the tutelage revealed that first the provinces of Benguela, Cabinda, Zaire, Huambo and Huila will be covered.

The first domestic flight is already scheduled, he said. It will take place on Monday 14th, to Cabinda.

To board, passengers are required to perform a test to covid-19, 72 hours before the flight.
