Challenged by the new shareholders - remember that Oi sold PT Ventures, which owns 40 percent of Multitel, to Sonangol - and with more than two decades of experience in the national telecommunications sector, the company decided to reinvent itself through launching a new product family.
Multitel Digitotal Solutions, a solution officially launched this Wednesday, intends to meet the needs of the market, presenting itself as a "key that opens all doors" of a company.
To get Angola to communicate with "world class", Multitel proposes eight new services in an action spectrum linked to the area of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). Are they:
1. Network infrastructure (structured cabling, fiber optics, wi-fi networks)
2. Data center and Cloud (Housing, Hosting, E-mail, Storage, Backup, Saas)
3. Consultancy and training on Job (Networks, Systems and Security)
4. IP Voice (SIP Trunk, SIP Lines and Voice Equipment)
5. Cyber Security (Traffic Control and Sanitization, IPS / IDS, Advanced Protection against Malware)
6. Web Services (Websites, Web Marketing with Social Media Management, SEO Optimization)
7. Automation and Electronic Security (Queue management, CCTV, Bio-point, turnstiles)
8. Softwares (ERP, CRM, Management Systems and Customized Software)
The presentation, which VerAngola attended, was given by Ludieco João, Director of Design and Innovation, the company's new business unit. Despite having used existing staff to set up this department, the company plans to approach the labor market later this year to expand the most recent unit.
António Geirinhas, managing director of Multitel, said that the first major project of this new business unit was the cabling of a field hospital placed by Clínica Girassol, in Viana. The official explained that, although this is a 360 degree solution, customers can use individual skills, such as e-mail hosting, development of specific management software, etc.
Kussi Bernardo, the company's CTO, highlighted the four million dollars invested by shareholders in the past two years, which also resulted in these new services. "We have to innovate, we have to reinvent ourselves to continue to be relevant in this sector. The competition remains fierce", said the technician.
Digitotal is available for the Angolan market and the SADC region, being a service designed for all types of companies, with individual budgets. "The idea is to adapt to each type of business and present scalable solutions, in order to grow with the company, regardless of the size or size of the business", concluded the CTO.
