In a first phase, for the construction of the plant infrastructure and the creation of the first production line, six million dollars were invested. Next year it is foreseen the creation of a second assembly line, which should start to be built in March 2021.

According to Angop, the investment in the plant was shared: 60 percent was financed by the bank and the remaining 40 percent by the company's own money. The six million dollars initially invested are part of a total of 13 million dollars that will be used until the end of the second phase of the project, scheduled for March next year.

According to Felisberto Capamba, general manager of IALTURC, by the end of this year the infrastructure and the first assembly line that will transform wheat flour should already be in place. It is estimated that this line will be able to transform around 60 tons of wheat flour per day.

The infrastructure works are already in the final phase and, according to the general manager of IALTURC, the necessary equipment for the first assembly line will be installed on 30 October. He also said that the flour processing should start, still in an experimental phase, on December 15.

The second production line, which will be related to the production of pasta and cookies, will start to be installed in March 2021. Felisberto Capamba said yet that this line should produce around 20 thousand kilos of products per month. Each production line will be compounded by 25 workers, he added.

The company also decided to bet on wheat production. According to Felisberto Capamba it was created a farm, called "Flavors of Huambo, Agricultural Production Center", in Sambo. In a first phase about three tons per hectare of wheat should be harvested, and the goal is to reach 1800 tons of harvest every three months.

This reinforcement in the wheat production is, for the responsible, an incentive to the local producers that will be able to sell the product inside the country.
