Euros and dollars with the highest selling rates at Finibanco and BNI

This Wednesday, Finibanco and Banco de Negócios Internacional (BNI) were the banking institutions with the highest values with regard to the sale of currencies (euros and dollars).

According to a table published by the National Bank of Angola (BNA) and cited by the Expansion, Finibanco applied a selling rate of 767.262 kwanzas for each euro and the BNI of 636.595 kwanzas for the dollar. These were the highest prices in the foreign exchange market for each currency.

The average exchange rate calculated in the market was 749,890 kwanzas for the euro and 625,768 kwanzas for the dollar.

Regarding the most "accountable" institutions, with regard to the European currency, Standard Chartered Angola was the operating bank with the lowest selling rate of the euro. It charged 738,306 kwanzas (1.57 percent less than the average rate calculated). At the lowest rates for the euro are Banco Kwanza Invest (BKI) and Banco Keve, with 738,309 and 741,478 kwanzas.

In the North American currency, Banco de Comércio e Indústria (BCI) was the second operator with the highest rate, charging 634,999 kwanzas for each dollar, followed by Banco de Fomento de Angola (BFA) (631,759 kwanzas).

Still in dollars, the lowest were traded at Banco Keve, Banco Kwanza Invest and Banco Yetu. Each sold the American currency at rates of 616,558; 616,645 and 618,252 kwanzas, respectively.

On the streets of Luanda, on the parallel market, currencies were being traded this Wednesday at the price of 900 kwanzas for the euro and 790 kwanzas for the dollar.
