In a note, to which VerAngola had access, Grupo Carrinho adds that, through its subsidiary Carrinho Indústria, it signed an agreement for the industrialization of basic food products with Anseba.
This document, signed last Friday, aims to "boost national production of essential foods and strengthen food security in the country", and "represents a significant milestone for both companies and the country".
According to the statement, the collaboration with the Anseba Group will result in "greater supply capacity for the domestic market and will contribute to reducing dependence on imports".
"This agreement reinforces the commitment of both companies to contribute to the country's economic growth", says the note.
This partnership will also enable "basic basket products produced in the country to reach consumers with greater competitiveness, both in terms of price and quality".
Quoted in the note, the chairman of the Board of Directors (PCA) of the Anseba Group, Kalab Berhe, considered that this partnership will bring benefits to the national market.
"The partnership with Grupo Carrinho will benefit the Angolan market and, above all, consumers who will have access to high quality products, produced locally", pointed out Kalab Berhe.
Décio Catarro, CEO of Carrinho Indústria, considered that the agreement will help develop the national food industry: "This agreement is an important step in our mission to contribute to the development of the national food industry and guarantee access to essential products for all Angolans. By joining forces with an experienced partner like Anseba, we are certain that we will only increase production efficiency with a focus on accessibility for consumers".
