In a statement to which VerAngola had access, UAN informs that candidates must submit their applications through the portal https://examedeacesso.uan.co.ao.
"The Rectorate of Agostinho Neto University informs the public that registrations for the entrance exams for the 2024/2025 academic year will take place online until 11:55 pm on the 13th of August of the current year, through the portal https://examedeacesso.uan.co.ao", reads the statement.
According to the coordinator of the Communication Subcommittee for the 2024-2025 Entrance Exams, Sabino do Nascimento, the university decided to extend the registration period as a way of compensating for the interruptions caused by the communication failures created by the first website made available.
Quoted by Jornal de Angola, the official explained that, initially, the university provided a website with the www domain, which caused problems for students accessing the process and, a few days later, a technical team was asked to create another website with a view to streamlining the process.
However, according to the official, until last Friday there were still candidates who were sharing the previous website, which caused problems in accessing the process, so it was decided to extend the registration period.
"We want to warn candidates not to use the previously shared link, but rather to access the university website and click on the new link created for this purpose", he warned, quoted by Jornal de Angola.
It should be noted that for the 42 undergraduate courses, available for the 2024/2025 academic year, UAN has a total of 4605 places available.
After the registration period, the entrance exams will be held in person between the 19th and 21st of August.
