Pedro Gonçalves calls up players for CAN2025 qualification. Bastos Quissanga returns three years later

The national football coach, Portuguese Pedro Gonçalves, called up 25 players for Angola's double clash against Ghana and Sudan, in the qualifying phase for the 2025 African Cup of Nations, in Morocco.

:

Among those called up, five play in Portugal, namely goalkeeper Ricardo Batista, from Casa Pia, defenders Jonathan Buatu and Sandro Cruz, from Gil Vicente, midfielder Keliano, from Estrela de Amadora, and forward Depú, from Gil Vicente.

Angolan defender Bastos Quissanga, from Botafogo do Rio de Janeiro, returned to the squad after three years of absence on the orders of the FAF board, due to alleged indiscipline.
