According to Rádio Nacional de Angola, the Angolan was chosen for the final of the Olympic football tournament. Thus, the assistant referee will 'whistle' the game where Spain and France will meet on the pitch to fight for the gold medal.

The final is scheduled for next Friday, at 5:00 pm (Angolan time) and will be played by the Spanish and French teams, after the Spanish won the semi-final against Morocco (2-1) and the French beat Egypt (3-1).

It should be noted that Emiliano's debut at the Olympic Games took place on July 24th, where he refereed the game between Uzbekistan and Spain.
