According to Paulo Gaspar, president of the Huíla Commercial and Industrial Agricultural and Livestock Association (AAPCIL), the exhibition space has capacity for 180 exhibitors, which led to the use of the limited space at the entrance and surroundings of the complex for the event.
Quoted by Jornal de Angola, the person in charge said that conditions have been created for the start of the largest business exchange in the south of the country.
"Conditions have been created for various sectors of the country's economic life, with emphasis on commercial banks, agencies financing agricultural and livestock projects, light and heavy transport, manufacturing industry, civil construction, renewable energy, among others", he said.
The president of AAPCIL also mentioned that at each edition those present continue to innovate in the presentation of products, in which the increase in sales among exhibitors and stallholders from various areas of the country and abroad – such as Namibia, South Africa, Zambia, Portugal, etc. – has become a reference, writes Jornal de Angola.
He also took the opportunity to ask exhibitors to make the most of the experience.
"Companies from Luanda, Cuanza Sul, Benguela, Namibe, Cunene and Huambo should take advantage of every opportunity to promote production and sales," he added.
According to the Jornal de Angola, among the exhibitors is a group of women entrepreneurs, members of cooperatives who were financed by the Guarantee Fund, who will showcase the fruits obtained from the cultivation of grains such as beans, corn and massambala.
This 31st edition of the event will run until next Sunday, under the motto "Agro Path to the Future", and is part of the program of the Nossa Senhora do Monte Festival.
