The Angolan film 'JOIA' shone abroad, having won the award for best international short film at the Paraty International Film Festival.
Taking to her social media, Micaela Reis announced the distinction: "'JOIA', the award-winning Angolan film is the big winner in Brazil of the Best International Short Film at the prestigious Paraty International Film Festival".
The presenter said it was with "great enthusiasm" that they celebrated this "great achievement".
"It is with great enthusiasm that we celebrate this great achievement that makes us believe and allows us to go further", she wrote.
The festival in question took place at the beginning of August, in Brazil.
However, this is not the first award for 'JOIA'. In May, the film won two awards at FESTin (Portuguese Language Itinerant Film Festival), namely the Pessoa Award for Best Short Film by the jury and the Best Short Film by the public.
