13-year-old Angolan wins bronze at the MMA World Championship in Abu Dhabi

At just 13 years old, the Angolan Stélvia Muhanha won the bronze medal at the World Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), in the youth category C.

According to Platinaline, the conquest of third place on the podium took place this Wednesday, as a result of a victory and a defeat, in the 43 kilograms class, in the youth category C.

The gold medal was won by the Irish athlete Kayden Dalton, while the silver went to the Israeli athlete Yasmin Makhti.

According to Platinaline, Stélvia Muhanha was the first athlete from the country to take action, and on Thursday it will be the turn of the Angolans Leoninldes Kangombe (48 kilograms), Mayara Lemos and Cláudio Fontoura (both in the 52 kilograms) to step on the stage.

The competition started this Wednesday (August 2nd) and will run until Saturday (August 5th) in the capital of the United Arab Emirates (Abu Dhabi).
