According to José Ganga Júnior, the process is being conducted by the Ministry of Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas and "the parts are practically constituted".

The start of this project has been postponed, after having started announced for 2022, according to the Ministry of Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas (MIREMPET).
The diamond exchange aims to provide a neutral platform that channels a regular flow of diamonds and will be managed by Endiama and the state-owned diamond trader Sodiam.
