The opening ceremony was attended by members of the administration of the urban district of Maianga, as well as members of the management of the Newaco Group, including Fresmart's operations director, Hélder Inácio, who was responsible for cutting the ribbon.
According to a statement sent to VerAngola, this new store, which concerns the 26th supermarket of the Fresmart brand, had an investment of 180 million kwanzas and "generated another 40 direct jobs in Luanda".
The new supermarket, the note said, "occupies a total area of approximately 500 square meters" and will be open from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm.
Cited in the statement, Hélder Inácio informed that the brand will continue to benefit its customers with promotions. "In addition to excellent service, quality assurance in the selection of products on display, variety in food products, Fresmart offers the lowest prices on the market, permanent discounts and on all items for customers with Fresmart Card. This initiative has a positive impact on the pocketbook and ends up being a measure to combat inflation in the sector", said the Fresmart operations director.
The opening of the 26th store takes place at the same time as the campaign to celebrate the brand's fifth anniversary, the note adds.
