The inauguration ceremony was attended by Paula Contreiras Dias, deputy administrator for the Political and Social Area of the Municipality of Viana and the Director of Operations of Fresmart, Heldér Inácio, as well as other elements of the Newaco Group's management.
According to a statement sent to VerAngola, the new Fresmart Express store involved an investment of over 500,000 dollars and created 40 direct jobs.
The new supermarket, the statement said, "occupies an area of 730 square meters and has some free parking spaces, as well as a cab stand at the door".
The Viana store will be open every day from 8am to 8pm, including on weekends.
Hélder Inácio, quoted in the statement, said that with its Express network, Fresmart aims to "ensure convenience stores in places close to home or work of its customers, providing more agility and convenience in a pleasant environment and with an attentive team".
"The opening of this store will help the Group to pursue its intention of offering better products and services to more families, always aligned with our main focus, which is to invest in the country, create jobs and stimulate the progress of national production," he considered.
