Angola beats Morocco and qualifies for the handball CAN semi-finals

Angola qualified, this Wednesday, for the semi-finals of the African Championship (CAN) in handball. The passage to the next stage of the competition was guaranteed after the national team of junior men's handball had won the opponent from Morocco.

In the first half of the match – which took place in Kigali, Rwanda – the national team proved to be superior to its counterpart, having gone into halftime with a three-point advantage (15-12), writes Angop.

The superiority of Angola ended up being maintained at the end of the game, with the national team beating Morocco by 32-26.

With this victory, the national team secured passage to the CAN semi-finals of the sport.

According to Angop, this Wednesday's game was related to the last round of the group stage.
