Gelson Dala, who already in the previous season, still at the service of Portuguese club Rio Ave, had shown his importance, reaffirmed it this Wednesday when he shone in the first game of the season.
According to Angop, luck didn't seem to be on the side of Al-Wakrah, who in the first 15 minutes of the match saw Murad Hussein score an own goal, thus giving his opponents an advantage.
However, still in the first half, Al-Wakrah managed to recover and equalize the score with a goal from Sainsbury in the 45th minute.
In the second half, Angop said, Al Duhail scored again, taking the lead in the 50th minute. However, four minutes later Gelson Dala came into action and scored, keeping the match level.
In the 68th minute, Al-Wakrah scored the third goal and, in the 90th minute, the Angolan scored twice, with the score closed at 4-2.
It should be noted that the Angolan Gelson Dala was permanently transferred from Rio Ave to Al-Wakrah.
