Vinevala Farm invests two million to boost production

About two million dollars is how much the Vinevala Farm will invest in the future agricultural season – which starts next month – with a view to boosting production and expanding the cultivation areas.

Among the intentions of the farm is the increase of about 4000 hectares of cultivation areas.

Businessman Alfeu Vinevala, quoted by Jornal de Angola, explained that the desire is for these areas to increase from 2000 to 6000 hectares.

In addition, the official made it known that the company also plans to purchase 12 agricultural instruments, compared to the three that exist, writes Jornal de Angola.

Regarding the next campaign, he mentioned that it is estimated that 45,000 tons of soybeans, 4000 tons of corn, 3000 tons of wheat and 200 tons of beans will be harvested.

Cited by Jornal de Angola, the official, when talking about the planting of vegetables, made it known that the level of production is high, with supply exceeding demand.

In order to guarantee the current campaign, the company has available 100 tons of soy seeds, 200 of beans, 250 of maize as well as 700 of wheat, among others, to help other farmers, writes Jornal de Angola.
