According to the epidemiological bulletin of the National Directorate of Public Health, the 10 deaths, between 17 and 95 years old, were registered in the provinces of Bié (four), Cunene (three), Huíla (two) and one in Luanda.
The province of Luanda led the registration of new cases with 115, followed by the provinces of Huambo, with 23, Huila with 22, Bié with eight, Benguela and Cuando-Cubango with six cases each, Moxico with five, Cunene and Zaire with four cases each and Kwanza Norte and Lunda Sul with three cases.
In 24 hours, the laboratories processed 3352 samples by RT-PCR. The cumulative total is 889,810 samples processed with a positivity rate of 5.2 percent.
Angola now totals 46,539 positive cases, of which 1176 have died, 2531 are active, and 42,832 are considered recovered from the disease.
