Sonangol with eyes set on exports. Oil company wants to reach Zambian, Namibian and South African markets

Sonangol has its eyes set on the markets of Zambia, Namibia and South Africa. According to Luís Manuel, the president of the Executive Committee of Sonangol's Trading and Shipping Business Unit, the oil company intends to increase its exports of refined products and gas to these countries.

:

At the moment, Sonangol already exports refined products to São Tomé and Príncipe and butane gas to the Democratic Republic of Congo. However, according to the Jornal de Economia of Rádio Nacional de Angola (RNA), the state-owned oil company is about to start exporting to Zambia.

Sonangol also has in its sights the Namibian and South African markets: the company intends, until 2023, to start exploring the potential of these countries.

This strategy aims, according to RNA, to strengthen the oil company's presence on the continent until 2027.
