Institutes conclude agreement aimed at boosting youth entrepreneurship

A cooperation agreement to promote youth entrepreneurship was signed this Wednesday between the Angolan Youth Institute (IAJ) and the National Institute for Support to Small and Medium Enterprises (INAPEM).

:

This understanding is intended to train young people in entrepreneurship. This training aims to teach them about opening small and medium enterprises and obtaining credits, writes Angop.

The goal, according to Jofre dos Santos, director of IAJ, is that by 2022 more than 1000 young people throughout the country will have received training - which should be given in houses and youth centers.

He also hopes that this agreement will help boost entrepreneurship and come to support the business side of youth.

The agreement was signed by Jofre dos Santos and Arnito Agostinho, president of INAPEM, this Wednesday.

The Minister of Youth and Sports, Ana Paula Sacramento, was also present at the ceremony. She took the opportunity to remind them that "it is fundamental to guide young people and accompany them, in order to prevent premature bankruptcies of companies, empowering them in terms of management".
