According to the Secretary of State for Public Health, Franco Mufinda, six of the total cases registered in the last 24 hours were notified in the municipality of Soyo, Zaire province, and the rest in the country's capital, Luanda.
Franco Mufinda also noted that the new cases of covid-19 concern 32 men and 17 women, aged between 12 and 91 years.
Regarding the death, this is an Angolan woman, aged 66.
The Secretary of State for Public Health also highlighted the recovery of 35 people, now totaling 946 patients recovered, and 1283 cases are still active.
Of these active cases, five are in critical condition, 17 are severe, 34 moderate, 40 mild and most are asymptomatic, added Franco Mufinda.
In the last 24 hours, and as part of the laboratory activity, 493 samples were processed by RT-PCR, 49 of which were positive, reaching with these numbers the cumulative of 54,621 samples processed.
On Saturday, will begin, after the staff of the National Police, the mass serological testing of 5000 taxi drivers, in the first phase, an action that will be done in conjunction with the Provincial Government of Luanda and the Association of Taxi Drivers of Luanda.
