In a note of clarification released this Tuesday, the Ministry of the Interior informs that the incident took place on Friday, at the residence of the agent, who was assigned to one of the national directorates, having used a pistol, brand Tauros, that belonged to him.
At the time of the arrest, the weapon was seized, which will be subjected to an expert examination, and steps are being taken to ascertain the real circumstances of the incident, given that there are contradictory versions of the facts.
In the next few hours, the suspect will be present to the prosecutor for legal proceedings and will respond to disciplinary proceedings.
