The information was provided by António Pereira, deputy general director of INEFOP, in statements to the press, after the signing of a cooperation agreement between the institute and the Association for the Promotion of Development, Prosperity and Technology (PDPT).
On the occasion, the director, cited by Angop, highlighted that the best performing trainees will have the opportunity to take advantage of professional internships and microcredits to carry out their activities without worries, as well as promoting self-employment.
Regarding the agreement, he said that its objective is to promote entrepreneurship among the country's young people, with the granting of scholarships in the country and in the United States of America (USA).
Furthermore, he added, the document also provides for training in pedagogy and the certification of PDPT trainers, within the framework of national needs in terms of science and technology, writes Angop.
While Pedro Godinho, president of PDPT, highlighted the fact that the collaboration took into account that the institute has equipped centers, as well as the high number of young people looking for training to ensure their livelihood.
He informed that the organization has 43 graduates preparing to take advantage of scholarships at some American universities, adding that the training cycle in the USA is mainly focused on courses in artificial intelligence, electricity and mechanics, writes Angop.
