In addition to the two births and the abdominal operation, to treat a stab wound in a citizen's abdomen, in the first days with its doors open, the aforementioned hospital unit provided assistance to more than 300 patients.

Of this number, 43 patients received care at the hospital on the first day, while more than 200 were treated on Saturday, most of whom were children.

In terms of hospitalizations, according to the general director, cited by Jornal de Angola, 42 patients are admitted to the hospital unit, of which 22 are children who are in intensive care at the Pediatric Oncology Center, with five of them in serious condition.

Already 12 patients, the most critical of which is a patient who suffered a cerebrovascular accident (CVA), are in the observation room of the emergency bank.

The person in charge said that the hospital is in full operation, being available to receive patients, especially assisting patients transported from other hospitals and more complex cases and added, cited by Jornal de Angola, that as it is a tertiary level hospital, the priority will be to patients with no resolution in municipal units and complicated specialty cases.

Among the features of the Cacuaco hospital is the provision of a 'Born with Registration' station, allowing newborns and children to be registered.

"With the inauguration of the General Hospital of Cacuaco 'Heróis de Kifangondo', located in the centrality of Sequele, another 'Born with Registration' post is also available to citizens, installed in that health unit. Thus, all children born in the aforementioned hospital or who are receiving any clinical treatment can request their birth registration or the issuance of an Identity Card", informs the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights, in a statement seen by VerAngola.

The hospital has already delivered its first Identity Card. The first child to receive the document was Arcanjo Caponguela.

"The little Archangel Miguel de Oliveira Caponguela was the first child to receive his Identity Card at the aforementioned hospital, delivered by the Delegate of the province of Luanda, Vicentina Vera Cruz", says the note.
